In her March 3, 2019 reporting on the annual Tucson Festival of Books, Arizona Daily Star reporter Norma Coile contrasted the sessions focused on the divisiveness of issues surrounding the president, Robert Mueller, and Russia with Jim and Deb Fallowses’ session which highlighted the creativity and innovation they found in local civic life.

In towns such as Southern Arizona’s Ajo, Deborah Fallows said, there’s this “other America not fully recognized, of people … crossing any political lines to collaborate.”
