Harrisburg’s Growth has been Stunted by Inaction and Lack of Vision

In his December 11, 2020 opinion article, prospective mayoral candidate Dave Schankweiler references Our Towns and the traits identified of successful towns, for which he sees parallels in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania’s capital, he exhorts, has been at a standstill for the past 12 years. To end the cycle, he proposes a shift in thinking and an entrepreneurial approach to finding solutions — a “can-do revolution from the ground up.”
