Chuck Yarborough is a history instructor at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, where he also serves as the director of the Tales from the Crypt and Eight of May Emancipation Celebration projects. His work has been featured nationally, including in James and Deborah Fallows’ national bestseller, Our Towns: A 100,000-Mile Journey into the Heart of America, as well as the HBO Documentary based on the book, and was first covered here by James for The Atlantic.
